Melor Podkolzin vs Yulian Kaplan

Boxing Daily Report from the Addow Promotions promoted show at Omsk Bogdanov, Omsk,  taking place on 23/09/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Russia-Saint Petersburg Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Melor Podkolzin (11 - 4 - 1) who hails from Saint Petersburg, Russia and Yulian Kaplan(4 - 5 - 4) from Saint Petersburg, Russia.  Both Podkolzin and Kaplan weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Afon Lopatin, and the three ringside judges are Aleksei Kasyanova, Georgiy Kuzelev and Sergei Miranchuk.
