Ian Kimmons vs Michael Guilliams

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Sheraton Grand Nashville, Nashville,  taking place on 18/09/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Ian Kimmons (4 - 0) who hails from Las Vegas, USA and Michael Guilliams(4 - 6 - 1) from Reno, USA.  Kimmons weighed in at 121 pounds and 9 ounces, while Guilliams weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Loudon, and the three ringside judges are Robert Davidson, Dan Stevenson and Billy Dey.  

Round 1: 

Kimmons is looking to close the distance and drives a firm left hook into his opponents ribs.  Kimmons attempts to land a left hook, but Guilliams blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Guilliams tries to land a cross, but Kimmons blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Guilliams sidesteps to the right of his opponent andKimmons wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Guilliams dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Kimmons lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.

Kimmons gets on the inside and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Kimmons connects with a firm cross.  
Kimmons is looking to close the distance and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Kimmons ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Kimmons pushes his forearm into Guilliams's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Guilliams sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross.
