Marco Marro vs Montana Esquilin

Boxing Daily Report from the Ballantyne Promotions promoted show at San Miguelito Malon, San Miguelito,  taking place on 16/08/2026:

Clearly Ballantyne Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Central American Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on NEXtv, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Marco Marro (17(2) - 1 - 2) who hails from Panama City, Panama and Montana Esquilin(10 - 0 - 1) from Tegucigalpa, Honduras.  Marro weighed in at 218 pounds and 5 ounces, while Esquilin weighed in at 228 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Roman Giraldo, and the three ringside judges are Ricardo Favela, Carlos Cobo and Gervasio Poblete.
