Louis Obanda vs Alec Matonka

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Mbaraki Sports Club, Mombasa,  taking place on 19/09/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Eastern African Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WWX Sport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Louis Obanda (15 - 6 - 1) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Alec Matonka(17 - 4) from Lusaka, Zambia.  Obanda weighed in at 140 pounds, while Matonka weighed in at 139 pounds And 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Sam Yiampoy, and the three ringside judges are Joey Keino, Nwa Lugano and Joey Keino.
