Gareth Bhimji vs Paulo Syachibala

Boxing Daily Report from the Daduryan Promotions promoted show at Lusaka Chikwalakwala, Lusaka,  taking place on 16/08/2026:

Clearly Daduryan Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Eastern African Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ZNBC, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Gareth Bhimji (11 - 1 - 2) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Paulo Syachibala(11 - 1 - 1) from Lusaka, Zambia.  Both Bhimji and Syachibala weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ben Chiputa, and the three ringside judges are Rashon Mwanawasa, Ibeamaka Urbano and Nwa Hamabilo.
