Matthew Newburn vs Isaac Davidson

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-Queensland promoted show at Cairns Storer, Cairns,  taking place on 13/09/2026:

Clearly AI Australia-Queensland have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-Queensland Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Matthew Newburn (15 - 10 - 1) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Isaac Davidson(4 - 9 - 7) from Brisbane, Australia.  Newburn weighed in at 147 pounds, while Davidson weighed in at 146 pounds And 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Fraser McNabb, and the three ringside judges are Sammy Feamster, Mark Lockie and Ian Rabb.
