Gower de Marivaux vs Denis Novy

Boxing Daily Report from the Afrifa Promotions promoted show at Cameroon-Centre Gym, Yaoundé,  taking place on 16/08/2026:

Clearly Afrifa Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cameroon-Centre Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gower de Marivaux (1 - 6 - 2) who hails from Yaoundé, Cameroon and Denis Novy(8 - 9 - 5) from Yaoundé, Cameroon.  Both de Marivaux and Novy weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fabron Baudhuin, and the three ringside judges are Darrell Djone, Briar Meiffret and Tyson Nguekam.
