Jun Tajima vs Daiki Kaneko

Boxing Daily Report from the Hidaka promoted show at Kyoto Tashiro, Kyoto,  taking place on 11/09/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan-Kyoto Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jun Tajima (13 - 3 - 2) who hails from Kyoto, Japan and Daiki Kaneko(6 - 8 - 5) from Kyoto, Japan.  Tajima weighed in at 146 pounds and 14 ounces, while Kaneko weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Takeo Imada, and the three ringside judges are Kenji Fujimoto, Naoki Kawasaki and Nao Mori.
