Uang Gong vs Makalo Akamenya

Boxing Daily Report from the AL Promotions promoted show at Qizhong Forest Sports Arena, Shanghai,  taking place on 10/10/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the IRBF Intercontinental Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Starsports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Uang Gong (21(6) - 3) who hails from Xiamen, China and Makalo Akamenya(17(1) - 4(3) - 2) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Both Gong and Akamenya weighed in at 126 pounds.
