Ross McDermott vs Daniel Kane

Boxing Daily Report from the Mzima Promotions promoted show at Dublin Malone, Dublin,  taking place on 12/09/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Irish Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport Ireland, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ross McDermott (16(4) - 6(3)) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Daniel Kane(12 - 8) from Waterford, Ireland.  McDermott weighed in at 175 pounds, while Kane weighed in at 174 pounds and 2 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Charlie Brisbane, and the three ringside judges are John Hyland, Jason Orman and Sam McCaig.  

Round 1:
