Nemesio Alvaro vs Nicandro Barroso

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Brazil-Amazonas promoted show at Enzo Mau Gym, Manaus,  taking place on 13/09/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Brazil-Amazonas Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nemesio Alvaro (11 - 4 - 1) who hails from Manaus, Brazil and Nicandro Barroso(7 - 3) from Manaus, Brazil.  Both Alvaro and Barroso weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vegas Borba, and the three ringside judges are Neron Gandara, Hilario Spinola and Reyes Monteiro.  

Round 1: 

Barroso finds the target with a jab.  
Barroso tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
