Waqas Qazi vs Shayan Dahdah

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Iran-Razavi Khorasan promoted show at Shahid Beheshti Sport Complex, Mashhad,  taking place on 13/09/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the West Asian Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IRIB, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Waqas Qazi (17 - 9(1) - 2) who hails from Mashhad, Iran and Shayan Dahdah(15(1) - 6(1) - 1) from Aden, Yemen.  Qazi weighed in at 146 pounds And 10 ounces, while Dahdah weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Tariq Akbari, and the three ringside judges are Genjo Bo, Gazi Hannan and Bilal Zaki.  

Round 1:
