Malik Elmesirri vs Tariq Toma

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Egypt-Cairo promoted show at Cairo Tawfik, Cairo,  taking place on 18/08/2026:

Clearly AI Egypt-Cairo have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Egypt Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Modern Sport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Malik Elmesirri (11 - 0 - 1) who hails from Cairo, Egypt and Tariq Toma(11 - 3 - 3) from Cairo, Egypt.  Elmesirri weighed in at 246 pounds and 3 ounces, while Toma weighed in at 231 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Haaris Kassas, and the three ringside judges are Jawad Hoda, Rashid Abdulrahman and Amer Deen.
