Montel Casado vs Fraco Ojeda

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Mexico State promoted show at Naucalpan Naragon, Naucalpan,  taking place on 15/09/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Montel Casado (14 - 6 - 2) who hails from Ecatepec, Mexico and Fraco Ojeda(17(11) - 5(5)) from Chimalhuacan, Mexico.  Casado weighed in at 147 pounds, while Ojeda weighed in at 146 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Juan Zambrano, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Montalvan, Oihane Ventura and Vicente Camargo.  

Round 1: 

Casado steps inside.  Ojeda is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Ojeda sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Casado connects with a left hook.  
Ojeda is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Ojeda forces Casado to retreat into the red corner.  Ojeda sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Casado attempts to land a right uppercut, but Ojeda sidesteps and counters with a firm cross.  
Ojeda steps to the outside and is on target with a sharp overhand left.  
Ojeda steps away from his opponent and lands a sharp overhand left.  
Ojeda lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Ojeda steps inside and hits home with a sharp left uppercut.  
Ojeda gets on the inside and manouvers Casado onto the ropes.  Ojeda pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Ojeda sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Ojeda drives a spiteful jab into his opponents face.  
Ojeda is looking to close the distance.  Ojeda quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a solid left hook.  
Casado sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Ojeda lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Ojeda lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Casado quickly recovers. 
Ojeda pivots from in front of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS CASADO!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  Casado recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Ojeda lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Casado throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a CRUSHING cross.  CASADO WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Ojeda senses Casado is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Ojeda lands a left uppercut, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the head.  The winner by KO is Ojeda!
