Thomas McCaig vs Alarik Varonen

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ireland-Munster promoted show at Cork Hall, Cork,  taking place on 13/09/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the EU Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport Ireland, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Thomas McCaig (11(1) - 6(1) - 1) who hails from Cork, Ireland and Alarik Varonen(15(4) - 6(5)) from Turku, Finland.  Both McCaig and Varonen weighed in at 126 pounds.
