Diego Jose vs Montel Lino

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ecuador-Guayas promoted show at Guayaquil Saenz, Guayaquil,  taking place on 18/08/2026:

Clearly AI Ecuador-Guayas have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ecuador-Guayas Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Diego Jose (5 - 13 - 3) who hails from Guayaquil, Ecuador and Montel Lino(3 - 3 - 3) from Guayaquil, Ecuador.  Jose weighed in at 225 pounds and 9 ounces, while Lino weighed in at 235 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Diego Ramirez, and the three ringside judges are Juan Corzo, Dario Ramirez and Joaquin Juliana.
