Jonathan Owens vs Jay Peter

Boxing Daily Report from the Otu Promotions promoted show at North Las Vegas Dunmore, North Las Vegas,  taking place on 18/08/2026:

Clearly Otu Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Nevada Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jonathan Owens (7 - 3 - 3) who hails from Las Vegas, USA and Jay Peter(4 - 0) from Las Vegas, USA.  Owens weighed in at 168 pounds, while Peter weighed in at 167 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Alec Rees, and the three ringside judges are Mike Faulkner, Dale Cloyd and Emanuel Pulido.  

Round 1: 

Peter steps inside and lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  
Peter lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Owens switches the action to the outside and throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Peter lands a double right hook to his opponents head.
