Fresco Rubio vs Diego Carballo

Boxing Daily Report from the Rourke & Salvador promoted show at Playboy Nightclub, Asuncion,  taking place on 20/09/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Fresco Rubio (9 - 0) who hails from Ciudad del Este, Paraguay and Diego Carballo(1 - 15 - 3) from Asuncion, Paraguay.  Both Rubio and Carballo weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Santiago Melgoza, and the three ringside judges are Guillermo Rolando, Ivan Coca and Fanuco Mandes.
