Edmundo Carcamo vs Angel Corpus

Boxing Daily Report from the Rourke & Salvador promoted show at Urban Park, La Plata,  taking place on 17/10/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Argentina Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on America Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Edmundo Carcamo (15 - 0) who hails from San Miguel de Tucuman, Argentina and Angel Corpus(9 - 4 - 6) from Córdoba, Argentina.  Carcamo weighed in at 153 pounds and 8 ounces, while Corpus weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Venacio Febo, and the three ringside judges are Carlos Villarruel, Porfio Velazco and Alejandro Galas.
