Boxing Daily Report from the Rourke & Salvador promoted show at Urban Park, La Plata,  taking place on 17/10/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Argentina Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on America Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Rodrigo Candelaria (19(5) - 7(1)) who hails from San Miguel de Tucuman, Argentina and Jose Barbas(16 - 5) from Santa Fe de la Vera Cruz, Argentina.  Candelaria weighed in at 146 pounds and 9 ounces, while Barbas weighed in at 147 pounds.
