Zenon Montoro vs Quito Lanzo

Boxing Daily Report from the Wonani Promotions promoted show at Roman Rodriquez Gym, Guayaquil,  taking place on 17/09/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ecuador-Guayas Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Zenon Montoro (13 - 9(1) - 2) who hails from Guayaquil, Ecuador and Quito Lanzo(15 - 6 - 3) from Guayaquil, Ecuador.  Both Montoro and Lanzo weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Santiago Andrada, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Andrada, Quico Gaytan and Alejandro Orona.  

Round 1: 

Montoro connects with a right uppercut.  
Montoro is on target with a jab.  
Lanzo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Montoro tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Montoro hits the target with a sharp jab.
