Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ghana-Ashanti promoted show at Kumasi Darko, Kumasi,  taking place on 20/08/2026:

Clearly AI Ghana-Ashanti have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana-Ashanti Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Poku (10 - 10 - 2) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Adam Busia(9 - 9 - 2) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Both Poku and Busia weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Connor Salifu, and the three ringside judges are Amon Amartey, Rob Adjei and Kabonesa Dumashie.
