Luca Donadoni vs Nico Salinari

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Italy-Apulia promoted show at Valerio Rugani Gym, Tarant,  taking place on 22/08/2026:

Clearly AI Italy-Apulia have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Italy-Apulia Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Luca Donadoni (11 - 6) who hails from Bari, Italy and Nico Salinari(3 - 12 - 3) from Bari, Italy.  Donadoni weighed in at 135 pounds, while Salinari weighed in at 134 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mauro Verratti, and the three ringside judges are Luca De Silvestri, Fino Riva and Alessio Adduci.
