Sasha Chaplinski vs Borya Galkin

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Russia-Samara Oblast promoted show at Viktor Karasev Gym, Samara,  taking place on 22/08/2026:

Clearly AI Russia-Samara Oblast have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Russia-Samara Oblast Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sasha Chaplinski (4 - 7 - 4) who hails from Tolyatti, Russia and Borya Galkin(8 - 1) from Tolyatti, Russia.  Chaplinski weighed in at 199 pounds and 15 ounces, while Galkin weighed in at 199 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Lazar Berkutov, and the three ringside judges are Gennady Prudnikov, Fedar Berezutski and Fedor Urban.
