Kalidas Manhas vs Girish Ramesh

Boxing Daily Report from the AI India-Gujurat promoted show at Surat Sarang, Surat,  taking place on 20/09/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the India-Gujurat Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TEN Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kalidas Manhas (9(2) - 0) who hails from Surat, India and Girish Ramesh(10 - 6 - 2) from Ahmedabad, India.  Both Manhas and Ramesh weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ajeet Matthai, and the three ringside judges are Premnath Rangaswamy, Yasin Sinai and Jyotish Balmuchu.
