Jun Shoji vs Shin Fukui

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Aichi promoted show at Shinji Sugimoto Gym, Nagoya,  taking place on 23/08/2026:

Clearly AI Japan-Aichi have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Aichi Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jun Shoji (10 - 7 - 5) who hails from Ichinomiya, Japan and Shin Fukui(6 - 5 - 2) from Nagoya, Japan.  Shoji weighed in at 117 pounds and 7 ounces, while Fukui weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Daiki Uemura, and the three ringside judges are Kenji Shimoda, Taro Jo and Mikio Tobe.
