Fumio Tanaka vs Kazuhiko Arai

Boxing Daily Report from the Katembula Promotions promoted show at Hideki Konno Gym, Fuji,  taking place on 23/08/2026:

Clearly Katembula Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Shizuoka Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Fumio Tanaka (11 - 3) who hails from Hamamatsu, Japan and Kazuhiko Arai(6 - 12 - 1) from Hamamatsu, Japan.  Both Tanaka and Arai weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yuichi Koda, and the three ringside judges are Akira Sanda, Akira Taguchi and Takeo Fujino.
