Yutaka Murano vs Taro Nakajima

Boxing Daily Report from the Katembula Promotions promoted show at Hideki Konno Gym, Fuji,  taking place on 23/08/2026:

Clearly Katembula Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Shizuoka Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Yutaka Murano (5 - 6) who hails from Fuji, Japan and Taro Nakajima(11 - 7 - 4) from Fuji, Japan.  Both Murano and Nakajima weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yuichi Koda, and the three ringside judges are Takeo Fujino, Akira Taguchi and Akira Sanda.  

Round 1: 

Nakajima closes the distance and lands a right hook.
