Mel Cowans vs Dave Markle

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Connecticut promoted show at Milford Ice Pavillion, Waterbury,  taking place on 20/09/2026:

Clearly AI USA-Connecticut have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mel Cowans (21(4) - 0) who hails from Memphis, USA and Dave Markle(2 - 2 - 1) from Stockton, USA.  Cowans weighed in at 239 pounds and 7 ounces, while Markle weighed in at 235 pounds and 5 ounces.
