Chandrakant Takshak vs Jaidev Balyan

Boxing Daily Report from the AI India-Maharashtra promoted show at Aftab Azizi Gym, Mumbai,  taking place on 21/09/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the India-Maharashtra Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chandrakant Takshak (8 - 9(1) - 3) who hails from Pune, India and Jaidev Balyan(5 - 1 - 2) from Mumbai, India.  Both Takshak and Balyan weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hassan Hares, and the three ringside judges are Kishore Subramaniam, Lochan Vijay and Lochan Vijay.
