Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Gauteng promoted show at Gold Reef Entertainment Centre, Johannesburg,  taking place on 20/09/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Commonwealth Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are James Liddle (13 - 7 - 5) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Ollie De Jager(6 - 14 - 3) from Pretoria, South Africa.  Liddle weighed in at 104 pounds And 15 ounces, while De Jager weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jake Tshipapayi, and the three ringside judges are Tokelo Zulu, Rob Bakwamba and Clint September.
