Boxing Daily Report from the AI Latvia-Riga promoted show at Riga Podzinsh, Riga,  taking place on 25/08/2026:

Clearly AI Latvia-Riga have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Latvia-Riga Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Aleksandr Matisons (4 - 11) who hails from Riga, Latvia and Sergey Pulkstens(3 - 7) from Riga, Latvia.  Matisons weighed in at 134 pounds And 14 ounces, while Pulkstens weighed in at 134 pounds And 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Aleksei Ubags, and the three ringside judges are Afanas Tevinsh, Afon Shaurinsh and Koldan Mazbralis.
