Owen Merrick vs Nicholas Caulfield

Boxing Daily Report from the Billy Smith promoted show at Montgomery Lithgow, Montgomery,  taking place on 23/09/2026:

Clearly Billy Smith have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Deep South Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Owen Merrick (14(5) - 3) who hails from Lexington, USA and Nicholas Caulfield(14 - 2 - 1) from Hoover, USA.  Merrick weighed in at 160 pounds, while Caulfield weighed in at 159 pounds And 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ian Anderson, and the three ringside judges are Owen Belliston, Louis Garrow and Seth Livingston.
