Banji Barus vs Ulan Kabiga

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Nairobi promoted show at Uhuru Basketball Court, Nairobi,  taking place on 23/09/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Nairobi Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Banji Barus (13 - 2) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Ulan Kabiga(11 - 8(1)) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Both Barus and Kabiga weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rex Odhieng, and the three ringside judges are Paul Changeywo, LeBron Naikuni and Sam Waiyaki.  

Round 1: 

Barus is on target with a left uppercut.
