Gig Frances vs Montel Ruano

Boxing Daily Report from the Djan Promotions promoted show at Puebla Vita, Puebla,  taking place on 26/08/2026:

Clearly Djan Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Puebla Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gig Frances (8 - 4 - 5) who hails from Puebla, Mexico and Montel Ruano(2 - 7 - 3) from Puebla, Mexico.  Both Frances and Ruano weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dimos Corrales, and the three ringside judges are Beltran Gardin, Vicente Mazariegos and Fanuco Barrera.
