Jing Chen vs Lei Ju

Boxing Daily Report from the FIGHT! promoted show at Zhong Po Gym, Shanghai,  taking place on 22/09/2026:

Clearly FIGHT! have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the China-Shanghai Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jing Chen (6 - 10 - 4) who hails from Shanghai, China and Lei Ju(5 - 5 - 4) from Shanghai, China.  Chen weighed in at 134 pounds and 1 ounces, while Ju weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Xing-fu Chern, and the three ringside judges are Sun Song, Woo Chai and Gan Jue.  

Round 1: 

Chen is on target with a jab.

Ju advances into close range.  Chen pivots to the left of his opponent and connects with a left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Chen's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Chen's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
