Boxing Daily Report from the AI Malaysia-Sarawak promoted show at Kuching Tahir, Kuching,  taking place on 26/09/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Malaysia Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV3, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Haaris Malek (13 - 3) who hails from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Gareth Sen(9 - 7 - 3) from Kuching, Malaysia.  Malek weighed in at 147 pounds, while Sen weighed in at 146 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Haaris Mahfouz, and the three ringside judges are Abdul Hashemi, Haaris Mahfouz and Asif Khalili.
