Santiago Betancourt vs Juan Frisco

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Paraguay-Asuncion promoted show at Asuncion Rascon, Asuncion,  taking place on 29/08/2026:

Clearly AI Paraguay-Asuncion have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Paraguay-Asuncion Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Santiago Betancourt (10 - 6 - 7) who hails from Asuncion, Paraguay and Juan Frisco(5 - 3 - 3) from Asuncion, Paraguay.  Both Betancourt and Frisco weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Santiago Melgoza, and the three ringside judges are Loredo Machado, Senon Chino and Guillermo Rolando.
