Andy Spence vs Malcolm McArdle

Boxing Daily Report from the Braveheart promoted show at David Mirrlees Gym, Glasgow,  taking place on 24/09/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the British-Scotland Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Andy Spence (12(1) - 3) who hails from Edinburgh, UK and Malcolm McArdle(5 - 9 - 3) from Glasgow, UK.  Both Spence and McArdle weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Iain MacCracken, and the three ringside judges are Robert Priddy, Martin MacBeth and Charlie MacNeal.  

Round 1: 

McArdle connects with a stinging right uppercut.  Spence ties up his opponent.  Spence is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.
