Ben Inzikuru vs Wayne MacAskill

Boxing Daily Report from the Melvin Grayshock Promotions promoted show at Huntington Beach Mescall, Huntington Beach,  taking place on 28/09/2026:

Clearly Melvin Grayshock Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ben Inzikuru (3(1) - 0) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Wayne MacAskill(2 - 2 - 1) from Charlotte, USA.  Inzikuru weighed in at 244 pounds and 4 ounces, while MacAskill weighed in at 241 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Vince Aitken, and the three ringside judges are Cris Villagomez, Mark Rielly and Dillon Ireland.  

Round 1: 

Inzikuru steps inside.  Inzikuru digs in a left hook to MacAskill's body.  As Inzikuru tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as MacAskill dabs at his face checking for damage.  
MacAskill pivots to the right of his opponent.  Inzikuru lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Inzikuru steps inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Inzikuru lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Inzikuru advances into close range and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Inzikuru throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives MacAskill time to recover.  
Inzikuru gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  Inzikuru ties up his opponent.  Inzikuru leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.
