Chris Whittet vs Richard Hatata

Boxing Daily Report from the Nkoloma Promotions promoted show at Manukau Moffitt, Manukau,  taking place on 27/09/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Chris Whittet (8 - 0) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Richard Hatata(10 - 9(1)) from Manukau, New Zealand.  Both Whittet and Hatata weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Waraki Kawau, and the three ringside judges are Ollie Scobie, Lloyd Rease and Declan Haturini.
