Kris Towns vs Gus Cooney

Boxing Daily Report from the COoL Promoter promoted show at Neil Stenhouse Gym, Birmingham,  taking place on 05/09/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Kris Towns (3 - 0) who hails from Little Rock, USA and Gus Cooney(3 - 1) from New York City, USA.  Both Towns and Cooney weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Seth Pyper, and the three ringside judges are Owen Leckie, Zachary Caffrey and Mark Bringhurst.

Towns pivots from in front of his opponent.  Cooney throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.
