Shinji Konda vs Satoru Umemoto

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Yoyogi National Gymnasium, Tokyo,  taking place on 14/11/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Japan Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Tokyo, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Shinji Konda (13 - 3(1) - 1) who hails from Osaka, Japan and Satoru Umemoto(13(1) - 1 - 2) from Shizuoka, Japan.  Both Konda and Umemoto weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kazuhiko Ide, and the three ringside judges are Hideki Ishibashi, Yuji Tsutsumi and Aki Fujii.
