Boxing Daily Report from the AI Paraguay-Asuncion promoted show at Asuncion Rascon, Asuncion,  taking place on 28/09/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Paraguay-Asuncion Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ovidio Pimienta (10 - 9(3) - 1) who hails from Asuncion, Paraguay and Rogelio Saldana(14 - 9 - 1) from Asuncion, Paraguay.  Both Pimienta and Saldana weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Diego Baez, and the three ringside judges are Zelipe Colmenares, Rodrigo Gordillo and Eduardo Lugar.
