Nemesio Montellano vs Diego Agpoon

Boxing Daily Report from the Bonchaka Promotions promoted show at Inkoom Gym, Batangas City,  taking place on 28/09/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Philippines-Batangas Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IBC, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nemesio Montellano (11(1) - 0) who hails from Batangas City, Philippines and Diego Agpoon(14 - 10 - 3) from Batangas City, Philippines.  Montellano weighed in at 140 pounds, while Agpoon weighed in at 139 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rafael Gacungan, and the three ringside judges are Diego Dacuno, Billy Tablac and Santiago Lumala.  

Round 1: 

Agpoon attempts to land a cross, but Montellano slips the shot and counters with a stinging cross.
