Cipriano Palaganas vs Xaverius Abuyen

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Philippines-Laguna promoted show at Ivan Ponce Gym, San Pablo,  taking place on 28/09/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-Laguna Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cipriano Palaganas (13 - 6 - 3) who hails from San Pedro, Philippines and Xaverius Abuyen(17 - 3) from Cabuyao, Philippines.  Palaganas weighed in at 118 pounds, while Abuyen weighed in at 117 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Arnie Gumiran, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Trillo, Rogelio Brazil and Olindo Suguitan.
