Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Lagos State promoted show at Lagos Nzeakor, Lagos,  taking place on 27/09/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Nigeria Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Haider Bukhari (11 - 5 - 3) who hails from Lagos, Nigeria and Ike Akinmunde(12(1) - 1) from Onitsha, Nigeria.  Bukhari weighed in at 129 pounds and 15 ounces, while Akinmunde weighed in at 129 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Sam Ofodile, and the three ringside judges are Kris Essien, Ifeanyi Ukpai and Efe Ajumogobia.
