Hikaru Hayashi vs Hikaru Matsumoto

Boxing Daily Report from the Shungwa Promotions promoted show at Kashiwa Hirayama, Kashiwa,  taking place on 19/09/2026:

Clearly Shungwa Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Hikaru Hayashi (7 - 0) who hails from Sakai, Japan and Hikaru Matsumoto(3 - 0 - 2) from Chiba, Japan.  Both Hayashi and Matsumoto weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yoshi Nomura, and the three ringside judges are Fumio Yanagi, Daiki Fujimura and Hiro Ueno.
