Boxing Daily Report from the AI Puerto Rico-Ponce promoted show at Lorenzo Robles Gym, Ponce,  taking place on 30/09/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Puerto Rico Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Puerto Rico Sports Network, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Leonel Lares (17 - 2(1)) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Alfonso Mercedes(15(1) - 6 - 1) from Ponce, Puerto Rico.
