Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Gauteng promoted show at Gold Reef Entertainment Centre, Johannesburg,  taking place on 30/09/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Vic Theron (16 - 3) who hails from Soweto, South Africa and Ayanda Coetzee(12(1) - 3) from Port Elizabeth, South Africa.  Both Theron and Coetzee weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nwa Ntuli, and the three ringside judges are Jackson Mnyamane, Peter Oosthuizen and Voshon Adams.
